Case of fraud against Sify Broadband in Chennai

Hello Ppl,
This is Nikhil here and i need a favour from all the chennai junta who are now suffering with sify’s broadband connection.
The Favour :
If you have got the sify’s 64kbps Unlimited plan , which was unlimited until 2 months back until sify suddenly had change of plans , and informed the users that , your pack is not unlimited , and you can download only 150 MB/day!!!!!!
Now , this wasn’t mentioned or written anywhere when a user bought a pack( 6 months or 1 year before) , which means that they don’t stick to their agreement made initially. ( a case of fraud )
and therefore i will need you to write your complaint against sify , give me your Name, Address & Proof of purchase.

I (from Andhra Pradesh)too faced the same problem,,,when i enqiured with sify people,,they have gvn a ridiculous reply…
They say tht any user who downloads more than 150 MB\day…for every 25MB download after tht a day charge would be debited from out acc…
when askd abt any reference or intimation gvn to the user…they say tht it was mentioned in the website…
It is a Fraud….

See I was a sify broadband your for more than 15months. i have a plesent experiences with sify. Ok
I know that they changed the plan limit in the mean while they informed the same to there customers and it was clearlly mention in there site sifybroadband.com also.. ok. As a customer its our duty to get the updated information about the service provider from whom we are getting service

i call the water supply (ugh! this takes 2hrs. everyday as they pickup phones sometimes) also everyday if water rates gave gone up…

HORRORS OF SIFY VIZAG – A NEW LOW IN CUSTOMER CARE.
Beware of Sify in Vizag. Here the service is run by a franchisee ‘Vaishno Communications’. As is the habit of the obnoxious laid-back attitude of the person who work here in almost all the MNC brands, the same applies to Sify’s functioning here.
After getting sick & tired of making many complaints to their call centre- which I am sure not recorded or regsitered at all in the first place- I am constrained to use this blog to vent my anger.
I am a hapless customer of Sify Broabdband. When I first applied for the connection, they promptly landed up near my doorstep to collect the money and then they dissappeared for a good 14 days despite my phone calls. Then they gave the connection and the very next day, the internet connection was gone.
Just imagine when I got the internet back? After 27 days. Can you beat that? I mean are we living in some communist country? They are truly unashamed. They were indifferent to my outcry.
Then, eventually they restored the connection and sent the monthly bill! and they gave me charity of 7 days paymnet waiver! I thought things would get normal. But I was wrong. Every Second Day the connection goes off.
The longest period of Sify’s continous connectivity was 4 days. That’s it. The new trend is that when the connection is up and running, a guy from Sify would ring the bell and ask if the internet connection was okay. Once he leaves after 1 hour or so, the damn connection is off again.
I can bet on this. Sify SUCKS big time. I don’t know if the guys who are supposed to monitor these employees of the Franchisee are sleeping or just ignoring customers like us.
Come festival time and the Sify Franchisee guys behave that it is their birth right NOT to attend to your complaint. Wait until the festival season is through!
To top all this, when the payment date arrives, indicated by their client, when I call them to come and collect the payment, they don’t and the connection gets expired and gets restored only after a day.
If Vizag has to atleast match Pune, Coimbatore, Surat (Forget cities viz. Hyderabad etc. with such sick mentality – NO CHANCE), atleast, all of us vizagites should ‘teach’ these guys here a lesson or two and be PERSISTENT in getting things done.
IF YOU ARE SERIOUS BUSINESSMAN OR A PERSON WHO NEED TO HAVE GOOD AND ALWAYS ON CONNECTIVITY, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR SIFY. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR COOL PRETTY SOON. YOU BETTER OPT FOR DATAONE FROM BSNL OR EVEN IQARA BROADBAND – IQARA GUYS ARE MUCH MUCH BETTER COMPARED TO SIFY.

This is sathya and I wish to tell some of the problems I’m facing with the SIFY BROADBAND. I bought a sify broadband connection from one of their dealers / Franchisee at Arumbakkam, Chennai on July and is said to me that the connection will be received in 3 days. But I received connection only after 5 days. First itself, there is very slow in their process of connecting the cable.
After getting connection, I was told by their dealer / Franchisee that they may be contacted directly if any problem arises regarding connectivity. I informed them many times but I don’t have any complaint number. And finally I was continuously not able to connect 3 days first and subsequently for 16 days. In the middle of those days, when I contacted their customer care office I have been informed that my problem will be solved in 12 working hours and that itself took more than a week for them to reconnect my connection. I don’t know whether the Sify works for their dealer / franchisee or the dealer / franchisee work for the sify and still I’m not able to determine who is the boss amongst them.
And again from December end to the middle of January i.e., within a period of 20 days, I complained the customer care of Sify about 8 times for continous disconnection while browsing (Always the same error : Check with local cable network and unable to reach the gateway) but that was not solved till now by them. They are only eager in their money making but not doing the work well and good. If the work is done well, I think there will not be any disconnection and I don’t need to call their customer care frequently. They gave only temporary solution and not a permanent solution. The customer care of Sify always says that they are only complaint receiving team and they have to contact their technical team regarding each and every complaint and they were not able to give me an exact scenario of my complaint. And I hope that in my area these problem occurs again and again and the Sify dealer / Franchisee is careless and even Sify customer care is careless on my complaints. The Sify team should know how to make connections without disconnectivity and they should learn a lesson atleast after seeing this.
As an ISP their job is to give continous internet connection without disconnectivity every second i.e.,60*60*24*7 without fail, but they failed to do that. One of their representative said, there is some problem at the connection point and problem is due to that only. But they are not giving me permanent solution even after knowing that problem. Why cant they think of that before when I asked for new connection (Only money is their motive at that time). After paying initial amount for connection, they didn’t even install any other external devices like modem etc, as a property of our own. Its just a cable running inside and outside for their connection.
I bought Sify broadband to just browse and explore all and for games and to relax a bit. But that itself has became a burden to me and it gets me in high tentions resulting no peace of mind and lots of mental agony. I request that I may be advised how to file a Consumer case against them by telling the mistakes in detail about them and their dealer / Franchisee and how can I claim money due to mental embarrassment by them for their poor / worse / worst service and also how to teach them a lesson while giving connection to another persons.

i registered some hundred time in our local
sify iway for a new connection in chennai from selayur….
inspite of that ther was not a single call or atleast a mail …
i used to live in a newly constructed apartments having atleast 50 families and i believe hter
is no connection from sify over ther …. i asked that fello to decrease the
huge initial payment as we are ready to take in large number…. he talked as though he showed a middle finger to me…

Hi some one will you please shut your mouth, if you don’t have any other work other than updating with all the people like water supply cable operator ,,…….etc …etc…. why you harass all these people every day , are you gone mad or what nowhere the prices will be hiked on daily basis ,,, thank god you are left jobless other than enquiring for the price hikes, if you are left with some responsible position think u’ll daily keep hiking the prices looks like. once you face the problems and get cheated then u talk in the same manner,,,, if you can’t support a genuine problem plz shut and keep enquire about hikes that’s it don jump like , ding and dong. okkkkkkk. its the servise provider who offered the tarrif and options for life time initially and who the bloddy hell you and the service provider to change that in between the lifetime when you offer it initially , if you have lots of properties give it to sIFY AND KEEP WATCHING , DON’T OPEN YOUR MOUTH AGAIN

I am a Sify BB user from Chennai. I think i share most of your opinions. A few things that i feel have to be improved a lot with Sify…
1. Customer Care personnel. Some of the are so dumb that you wonder how they ever got recruited. One fellow repeatedly said, try pinging your gateway, when my complaint was Network Cable Unplugged(inspite of my cable being ok)
2. The way in which data usage is recorded. There is no warning/alert when you are about reach 150 MB limit. You have to logout and relogin to see the usage. It once happened that my one month’s night unlimited pack got used in ONE day(just renewed that morning). Reason, downloaded during day(sunday). The download manager got open accidentally and ended up downloading 784MB(the limit is 150MB and for every 25MB you use after 150MB, one day’s validity is one). I admit that I am to blame for being negligent. But had there been a warning or alert this could have been avoided.
3. The concept of data usage limit. Why should there be a limit on downloads?
4. Session refresh. I have the 256 Kbps night unlimited weekend pack. So, I download during nights. The people at Sify sometimes clear all the sessions in the middle of the night. You wake up in the morning only to find there has been no dwonload activity for the past 5-6 hrs. These guys are sometimes too cunning.
5. Most important! Rates. Some plan rates are just too high, given the speed at which they are provided! E.g 64 Kbps at Rs. 400 p.m. Technically 64Kbps is not broadband, it is just an always on interrnet connection.

Hi all….I am also using this SUCKING sify broadband connection for a year now….I usually renew my account with 256 KBPS true unlimited plan (new plan of sify) ……In that your download speed is 256 KBPS but upload speed is 64 KBPS this is a mess….They should not do this ….Most of the problem I face are:
1. Gateway unreachable (DAILY)
2. Network Cable unpluged (DAILY)
Now also I would like to tell u all tht the customer care service is also not good…….yeah they say tht it will take maximum 1 day to fix ur problem they have issued ur problem to technical staff and they will handle it…..
Lastly …….DON’T EVER BUY THIS SIFY BROADBAND CONNECTION……I am also thinking to change this connection to either airtel or tata indicom…..

I had purchased a Sify broadband connection on the 28th of April for which I had paid 1700 Rs. (1000 Rs. registration charges and 700 Rs. package charges for a month). The sales executive promised me that the connection would be activated the same evening. However, the sales executive did not turn up till 10 pm in the night. When he did turn up, he gave me a free connection for 7 days and said that the connection pack that I had paid for would be activated in a couple of days. I was fine with the idea. However, post 2 days there was no update on my account with Sify. I called up their Customer Service number on the 4th of May and the guy on the line informed me that my account would be renewed within 24 hours. However, there was no renewal done on my account post 24 hours. I gave the customer service guys a call back again and the same thing was repeated, stating that the account would be renewed in 24 hours. I called them again today and was promised a call back by their manager within an hour. After 3 hours of waiting for a call back, when I contacted them again, I got a chance to speak with their Floor Supervisor named Habib. She said that she would be unable to provide me with information on refund as I wanted to discontinue my account. All in all, a very frustrated customer, who does not even want a refund of the 1700 Rs. now! Really fed up with the appalling Customer Service, or should I say non-Service.

(1) error bb108 Gateway unreachable
(2) Network Cable unpluged
i think they should improve their service and give importance to their customers.
one more problem which i faced was that while using their 64kbps plan i always use less than 100mb/day but suddenly one day i saw it was 236mb which was next to impossible.
so i think their is someone who is using my line, i dont know how, but i am sure.
sify should check and take needful steps as early as possible, otherwise they are going to loose their customers with this type of service.

I am Ashwin from Mumbai and I have a 256 kbps connection with a 28 to 32 kbps download speed.
The first month was like a honey trap. There were no problems, I got the promised 28 to 32 kbps download speed, with no downtime.
From the second month the problems started, the most frequent one was “Request Timed Out” and this only happened at night time i.e. during the free download period, between 10:30p.m. and 8:00a.m. only a few times, but from the 6 month itself the dialer started hanging.
Now this is the 10 month, and I had renewed on the 3rd of this month after I had threatened them that I will discontinue their connection if they didn’t do something of the frequent “Request Timed Out” problem, but out of the 13 days I had their connection I couldn’t connect to the net during 11 nights.
The only way to teach Sify Broadband a lesson is mass exodus, just disconnect and take some other ISP’s connection, and discourage other newbies from taking Sify Broadband connection.

SIFY really really sucks.
I am a customer of sify for about 6 months. I am unable to obtain a continuous connection in a single day stretch.
There are always at least 3-4 hours outtages every day. Their customer service is the worst. Sometimes, I feel that the guy on the other end of the fone is not even literate.
People of India please do not get Sify.. also tell all your friends/collegues to boycott Sify.. We must all unite and teach those m**herf***rs a good lesson.

This is vinod and i got a new sify broadband connection before 3 months. It worked only for 15 days. After that still now it is not working. I have raised so many complaints to sify and no one is responding. The people those who are working in sify call centre are really fraud. Whenever you call them they use to tell that the problem will be solved within 12 hrs. But I am calling them for the past 2 months. I have been told many time frames. I paid Rs.2850/- for this connection and I just used it for only 15 days. They are also not ready to refund the amount. Never ever go for a sify connection. They are simply cheating the people. Please do not recommend anybody for a sify connection.

For couple of months i had unlimited night and day[restricted to 150mb]. No problem there.
Switched to unlimited night time package for 6 months. All problems started.
Everytime it rains it seems the switch box gets roasted.
Give a call to Customer Care, they land at your doorstep after 5-7 days.
Email to top bass at Sify, you get a call from customer care.
No network connectivity in a month for 15 days. Money paid Rs 500/month. So that means Rs.250 gone down the drain.
If you are planning on getting an internet connection, NEVER EVER apporach SIFY or you will end up crying everyday.

Hi,
I’ll tell you what are the fraud these sify people doing.
1. They giving unlimited package with restriction 150 MB during 8am-10pm and unlimited during nights 10pm-8am
2. When Put download in nights and see in the morning there is no download is happening. These people disconnect the login sessions. Because of that there is no download.
3. When i called cc, they telling they are open for all the 24*7*360 days. You have to call by the time it is down.
4. Is it is possible to see whether the connectivity is fine or not during night time every 15mins.
5. They refuse to give complaint number or compensation because we called in the morning where the connection is fine and they tell us the stupid reason that if you have downtime of 12hrs they will provide compensation.
6. The unlimited night hours itself is 10hrs how it is possible to get the compensation.
7. There is no connection re-establish as in the download software which try to retry the connection to make the download happening continuously.
8. Bandwidth, if it is 256 kpbs it means you will get 32 kilo bytes of speed. But what we getting is 28 kilo bytes
that is 224kbps
9. They putting the package in pipeline without the customer confirmation that leads to trouble. If you are putting download on final day of your pack and you left downloading then the pack in the pipeline will activated without your manual selection.
10.You know in west mambalam, chennai out of 450 people 200 not paid /renewed the connection this month. Manager for chennai region ask collection agent arrange customer to speak with manager directly.
11. Local cable provider who giving connection is a contractor who is not doing the service properly, everytime he is not available even for switch hang.
12. Once a agent called for renewal, i said the connectivity is not okay and service is too poor i’m unable to download. They he reply me to go for unlimited for 1100 for 256kbps. I asked him, i’m told connection is not okay they how you people ask me to take 1100 rs pack.
13. I’m tired calling customer care for compensation. This is just like begging for service, we paid for service and we begging for the compensation.
14. There is no alert system when you cross 150mb
15. sometimes what happen if i log off and see it not showing my how mb i have crossed, customer will over use the pack and get no. of days reduced.
16. They are very snail slow in rectifying the faults.
17. They not even listen to customer who have good knowledge about network and computers who narrates the exact problem.

Hello to fellow unfortunate Sify broadband users and “HELL”o to SIFY Guys,
Iam based in chennai.
One of the few decisions i regret in my life is going for SIFY broadband. The A**H***s at SIFY have a clever way of managing problems. They blame the local service provider for any issues and the local service provider blames SIFY. Ultimately the customer suffers, get frustrated and then most of them get fed up and drop the issue till it gets resolved itself.
The A**H***s at SIFY, promise a 256 kbps meaning 32 KB/s, but iam sure not one of us Poor Souls (Customers) have ever seen any number even close to that number. This again amounts to FRAUD on the part of SIFY.
We Poor Souls (Cusotmers) dont even know whom to sue, the A**H***s at SIFY or Local Service Provider. Iam sure that for SIFY this makes a money minting low liability business model, but for how long?
The SIFY Broadband connection is sometimes so F***ing Frustrating. The connection cuts out when a 100 mb donwload stops at 99%. Dunno whether the A**H***s at SIFY do it deliberately ir it just happens that way. Whatever the case, the A**H***s at SIFY have failed in providing the Poor Souls (Cusotmers) with the agreed connectivity.
We Poor Souls (Cusotmers) also have to spend a S**t load of money on phone calls to call the A**H***s at SIFY, who F***king take something like an hour or so just to get the complaint, when we are already paying thru our noses for the costly connectivity.
When are the A**H***s at SIFY going to realise that the customers are going to wake up one day and their sweet money making machine is going to be blasted to smithereens.
I sure hope the A**H***s at SIFY realise the problems in their money minting low liability business model and give some respect to the Poor Souls (Cusotmers).

Hi All,
I am currently using an Airtel broadband connection and as per the service they provide it’s excellent atleast as per my experience goes for the last 1 year. I have a plan where they charge Rs. 700/- for 128kbps with unlimited download. I was thinking of moving over to Sify if they are providing a cheaper option but after reading this Blog…..Nopes I will never do that. Thank you all for sharing your views here and helping people like me.

I have had had broadband for last 5 years fron Dishnet in Chennai 128 to 512kbps.They were great, always on.After Tata Indicom’s takepver also it was fine although levels of service were slowly deteriorating.
Last 10 days their connection is off-all complaints to no avail. No link
I thought of taking Sify but seeing all these comments above I will try something else.

I have Airtel last 2 years and they are excellent although initially they were overbilling and you have to fight every month. Now they don’t overbill!!.
I have a business where I cannot afford not to have internet even for 2-3 hours

I am also having a bad experience with sify.
The price of packs is different at sify customer care and sify service provider. when i called sify for the problem they don’t have any control on their operator and he charges as per his wish. I think c care at sify is totally waste.
i have renwed my account on 14.08.06 by 230/- pack with a limited download of 400MB on the very next day the service provider has disconnected my net saying that you have to pay 314/- for the same pack (with dadagiri) I have complaint this to sify but nobody have listened and finally I have to pay the balance 84/- to the service provider and NOW FROM THE NEXT MONTH I AM SWITCHING OVER TO MTNL BROADBAND.

I was cheated by Rs.100 at I-way internet cafe situated in Goplapuram near Stela maris college,chennai.
Lady has taken Rs. 100 on Aug 27,2006 & showed me the balance on screen .Still there register shows this entry but I am not able to use it anyhow. They show thei unability to help me even.Simply they say it does not go to their pocket.Why a customer should suffer by negligence of these employees. My account exists with sify under lkmishra then how they recharged in wrong account of mishra lk?
Hope others can take a lesson of it.

Hey people, “Sify internet” is not all that bad.
Sify just provides the bandwidth, its up to the local service provider to provide quality of service, which of course depends on what kind of cabling and other infrastructure he has in place.
I had a “sify” internet connection through the local providers called “b4u broadband”. This connection suffered from everything you’ve mentioned above (connection being unplugged, request timeouts, garbage level customer service and the like).
I decided to do a lil bit of research, n what i found out was there’s another local service provider who offered sify packages – “charminar online”. These guys took a couple of days to get things straightened out, but after that, its been like a dream. Nothing can beat their uptime!
So just take some time n find out if there’s another isp in the neighbourhood; more often than not, u’ll get another. And its reallly worth the effort. One thing you should remember though: always talk to a customer before buying the product, this applies to every product or service. So speak to a level-headed customer about the uptime n u’ll get an idea of what to expect.
But of course, i use the 256kbps pure unlimited plan which saves me from the foolish 150mb/day limit. It has a list price of Rs.1122.
Now for the solution to another common problem here… if your local provider asks for say, Rs.1250 for the same connection (instead of 1122), just tell him you’ll be glad to pay whatever he asks. But what you will actually do is, go to any nearby Sify iWay and get a renewal card. This way u pay the listed price, not inflated amounts. Plus, u can be satisfied u r paying exactly what the pack is worth, and paying to the people who actually provide the bandwidth. Not some lazy cablewala who doesn’t bother about how much he’s ripping off peoples earnings.

Im 4m mumbai! i have been using sify from past 2-3years, was 1 of da 1st customer in our area! i still hav sify, and i hav to pay 2 times a month for da same 128unlimited pacakage- 612rs.
sify is truly a fraud company! if they didnt wish to give out unlimited connection they should never have told us in the startin about unlimited pacakges! its da only reason why most of sify users stay on sify! i feel betrayed, customer satisfaction= 0!

Hi guyz, u cannot log a complain against any company for change of plans if it has been intimated to u. Even airtel introduced CUG with all time free calls between CUG members but later changed it to 600 minutes per month. But since it was intimated to customer before change of plan no leagal action can be taken.

Hi i too am a sify brodband user.I have a package in which the speed is suppose to be 256kbs, the fastest availible.But believe me ,this is so damn slow,this cannot be 256kbps.They are definitely doing a fraud as I have used internet from a different provider at this speed and it is many times faster then this.

i am very much disappointed after taking ur sify connection service.b cause of ur Engineer Neglancy my windows xp 2000 file currupted.when he was installing the net connection my pc was hanged twice,and both time he restart it.my parents asked him that ye hamesha asia hi hoga kya? so he said no ye pehale aisa hota hai badme nahi hoga.or problem hote hue bhi he installed the connection.then within 45 minits when i loged in the computer hanged three time.and then the windows currupted.
then i called up the Engineer. He talked very rudely to me,he said aap ko samaj me nahi aata kya mai das bar bol raha hu, aap kyon paagal ke jaise baat kar rahe hai,ye hardware ka problem hai.
maine hardware Engineer ko bllake pucha to usne clearly bola ke ye hardware ka problem nahi hai.ye Engineer ke wajese hua hai.ke problem aayega ye usko pata tha par usne inform nahi kiya.
fir maine MULUND branch me call kiya to wahake branch officer ne bhi bahot galat tarike se chilla ke bat kiya,or kaha mai paise refund nahi karunga aap sify se le lena.
is this kind of service u r providing to ur customer.i have already launch the complain on the complain number par abhi tak koi answer nahi aaya.
i got the connection on 6th of january 1.00 pm and my pc crashed on 1.45 pm.that Engineer’s name is bheemashankar.
i am hoping that u will take some action on these 2 people and tell them to refund my money,and correct my pc.i am staying at mulund. and my cell number is 9819015239.
i am waiting for ur positive replay.plz look into this matter and solve it as soon as possible.

hi guys, thanks a lot for ur valuable complaints.
I was searching to get a broadband connection and preferred sify, now that i have seen this blog, will never buy it. My suggestion for all of u is, try quitting sify and go for another connection. Your level of tolerance is their level of strength. Try to educate as many people as u can abt sify and quit sify immediately….

Also getting error while trying to change my password.

Friends, Honestly speaking, PLEASE DONT EVER GO FOR SIFY internet connection. Thats the WORST EVER service I had ever seen in my lief. Just thw worst.
I paid 1000 rupees installation charges and also took Rs.350 internet package. I didnt even use 10-15 rupees out of it. The service is down for 15 days and no one is repsonding on it. I made atleast 20-30 calls and sent 50 mails in 15 days. every time I get an apologixe message. They neither give my money back nor provide service.

These SiFy guys are fraud. I am Ashutosh Sharma I m from Delhi. I got New connection last week but till now my connection is not working due to IP problem and those guys dont want to solve my problem.

U know guys ,the sify custoemr care “executives” are mostly 12th passouts– degree fails and have no knowledge about internet… So dont ever call them .It makes no sense calling those a******s.

I too have suffered a lot with Sify broadband, not with the speed or change in plan but with my subcription for the new connection itself. I have subcriped for a new connection with Sify on Jan 2006 and paid a sum of Rs 2330 and they promised that they will provide the line in 15 days. Days passed…, months passed.., a year passed no response.., repeated calls to their Customer care yield nothing, then I realized that there are no Sify cables running in my area and the Company too accepted it but didnt return my money back.
After a long struggle, I felt that they will not return my money back and thus filed a case againt Sify in the Customer Court, Chennai. The case is still in progress and I have demanded a huge amount from Sify for Cheating. I also came to know that the company have cheated in the similar manner in different parts of the city. So guys beware and act.

This is Praveen from Bangalore and I have taken Broadband connection from SIFY , the no of days I have seen it functional can be counted on fingers .The worst service I have ever seen .

we also having sify bb in chennai(koyambedu) always we are facing the connection problem with sify and local cable operator jknetwork. If the fibre cable got disconnected accidently they took minimun three to four days to reconnect it. Not only the cable cut problem we are facing the daily server down problems. Local cable operator not having a sifficient work force to rectiufy the problem. really it is a worst connection

3 months ago I took a Sify Broadband connection. Ever since being connected the network has been down for more than half the time. On complaining with Sify, after much follow-up they send the Engineer on the next day. The Engineer fiddles with the computer and cables, some how gets the connection working after going to the terrace. After 2 – 3 days the trouble starts all over again.
Time & again this matter has also been reported to the Sify Customer Care which does not care for the customer but rudely gets into unnecessary arguments saying that such problems are natural. Customer support after office hours at Sify & their HO is non-existent. Normally during office hours the Internet users are at office and rarely require the Internet connections. After office the net is required for work, but the system is not available and the customer support is pathetic.
The Engineers mostly passes the buck saying that this is a peculiar problem with our particular building, but my colleagues have the same problem in other areas and buildings.
Customers should think twice before going in for Sify Broadband Connections because the service is unreliable and the customer support is pathetic.
Beware.
