Cheers to broadband forum!

by Abhishek on August 14, 2005

Over the period of time, I was tracking the general telecom scene in India. Rather inappropriately this is labelled as Broadband Blog. I feel that one shouldnt be restricted in the approach to the same.

I am glad to read that Broadband Forum has reached 20,000 posts over the past few years it has been in the cyberspace. It was initially started by Sushubh to log inhis anger against Sify. Well, it has definitely progressed more than that.

My congrats to the whole team who have it the place it is. I wouldn’t claim that it is the one stop information source for everything Telecom- but frankly one needs to see beyond the hype and the headlines. Your feedback is welcome- I take it as a learning experience everytime- specially with differing viewpoints. Since I have to update this from Reliance Web World, I am not veryfrequent with this blog. Once I have my ownconnection, expect to hear more from me.

Meanwhile, let’s hold up the mirror up against the entrenched interests- these people are clearly out to “loot us” one and all.

I just tried sending an e-mail to Abhsihek, but it bounced from the sancharnet.in address.

I normally read your site through a feed reader (in my case, Bloglines). It looks like you recently switched to partial feeds. Any chance you could turn the full feeds back on?
