Review of BSNL Broadband

Oh well, after a lot of wrangling and a couple of phone calls and complaints to the higher ups, I finally managed to get the Broadband installed.
It would be impossible to review on the technical parameters; suffice to say that so far it hasn’t gone kaput. Surprised to read online that BSNL has introduced the night unlimited plans. The tarriffs are valid till next year. I maynot be able to see any change in that soon. Oh well pity.
Do the higher ups in BSNL be wide awake at 2 in the morning? Lucky few for the few night owls who believe in the file sharing. They maybe able to leech the networks effectively…..all the best to them.
I believe that for other’s perspectives its better to head over to the forums- that may give a better bird’s eye view about the whole idiocies.
One thing is for sure. BSNL is a necessary evil.

Bsnl is adopting the business stratergy to rip people of india.According to Bsnl they are providing cost effective broadband service in india.Well the fact is the broadband what bsnl is providing is too costly.A normal man who dont know much about computers technically think broadband provided by the Bsnl is cheapest.But thats not the fact.With one GB of limit for 500 rupees per month it is not at all cheap.Bsnl is using there evil mind to cheat people.I dont understand about there unlimited access after 2:00 AM.I think Only the people working at night shift can enjoy this feature.

even if u sleep u can use it. If u are using winxp, this trick will work. Create a text document called one.txt. Type the following text.
rasdial BSNL username@dataone password
where username is ur username provided by bsnl and password is ur password. Save the file. Rename the file to connect.bat. ignore the warning xp gives about changing the file name. now if u click on connect.bat u can connect to the internet.

now go to control panel and click on scheduled tasks and click on add new scheduled task and point to this connect.bat created before. Keep this file in ur drive where u installed winxp. give start time of the task as 2AM. Also check the box which says wakeup this computer to run this task. click on ok. Now the comp automatically connects to the internet at 2AM.
U can enable hibernation at say 9PM when u sleep. Even if u have a password for windows, the connection to bsnl will take place exactly at 2AM.
Now schedule ur favourite download manager like Internet download manager or bitcomet to start download at 2AM. That way u can make use of the full stuff. If u have some more queries drop in a mail to bizhatmod@gmail.com.

I AM NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS UNLIMITED AT NIGHT BETWEEN 2AM TO 8AM.I CONNECT WITH HOMEPLANE500 MONTHLY CHARGE.SAY ME I CAN USE INTERNET LIMITED OR UNLIMITED.AM I PAID ONLY 500RS PER MONTH WHEN I DOWNLOAD/UPLOAD BETWEEN 1GB.

IF I DOWNLOAD 1 GB AT NIGHT(BETWWN 2 AM TO 8 AM);tHE TOTAL DATA SEND VALUE INCRESASES BUT NOT AS FAST AS THE NIGHT UNLIMITED USAGE VALUE…wHY THIS HAPPENS?

What is use of unlimited download between 2 am to 8 am and during these hours also the KBs increses but slowly
