As usual, I quote from the officer’s mail. The emphasis is mine.
We also are aware that there are some segment(sic) of customer for whom the unlimited plan is going to be the right choice. That’s why this case has been initiated. The details of the plan is still under deliberation and we expect it to be finalized by mid of next month.
The same will be intimated through our website, the moment it is launched. Yes, I will personally intimate you also(sic) through e-mail.
Could I have my head swelled up here? The officer himself is going to mail me back!
So now, the spelling mistakes are gone; grammatical bloopers remain. Surely, someone has read the previous posts!
I hope they make it earlier; I need the unlimited bandwidth desperately for updating through medical journals.
There are other developments too; I am restricting myself at the moment for these announcements. It’s a good feeling that my efforts have borne some fruit. Though my fingers have actually worne out tapping on the keyboard incessantly.
By the way, this mail came in after two mails were sent; the last one specifically mentioned whether there is an official dictated policy as to refuse any query from a consumer. More or less a stinker.
Once the CNN-IBN deal comes through (if at all it happens), I would DEFINITELY highlight the present impasse. BSNL remains a public organisation and these officers are public “servants”. Who died and made them God? What divine right they have to pimp their last mile access? Why can’t these officer’s be made accountable for their lapses and mental harrasment?
Tough questions but no answers forthcoming.
I commend you Abhishek for your patience.I wrote to them twice in november and then in december but since I didn’t get any response I gave up.But thankfully you were more persistent and fortunately your obstinacy paid off.Let’s just hope that the tariffs are reasonable.Hey any idea about what would happen to the existing tariffs.Would they prolong free browsing under the current plans? If that happens then unlimited may not take of as most would prefer to stick to their plans.
No idea mate.
Thanks for the kind words. Maybe they are all reading my blog now!
Well, I can bet they will come up with stupid plans. To put it in a nutshell, if yu want anything done stupidly, leave it to BSNL. They had the opportunity (when the launched their broadband), to get the entire country in their grasp.. but look at what they have done.. heh.. time will prove
hi abhishek,
Gud work dear fellow Indian. I somewhere read in your blog that you would file a petition under the RTI Act. Have you thought anything about this? I would like to help you out in this regards.
Well, this kind of government has prompted few students to form an organisation, Bharat Uday Mission. I think you would be most interested. WE ALL WANT A CHANGE, A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER.
jus visit http://www.bharatudaymission.org and join us if you are interested. Hope to meet you there.
Thanks Srikar,
Thanks for the offer; I am not joining Bharat Uday for some reason I cannot make it public. This is not the right place to discuss as to why it’s so.
As for the RTI, I enquired but it wouldn’t have been suffice to know as to what “plans” BSNL are having. Plus, another drudgery, I d have to file the complaint in New Delhi. I am staying quite far. The expense isnt worth it.
I heard that the forms are being provided online. Till that happens, I am content to be abused…
Thanks for dropping by and linking on to the website. I wish you all the best for your political party.
Hi once again,
Can we have a private talk ?? My email id is njsrikar[at]gmail.com . I just want to have a talk with you. One of my friends has recently, successfully extracted a little information regarding the finances of the recent AICC Plenary, through RTI Act.
The reason I want to have talk with you, because I wanna know the reason behind your rejection to join BM.
Hoping to meet you(online ofourse) soon.
Regards,
Srikar.
You think that Sardar and his cronies are going to help you solve this one
. Atleast they can complete some roadways projects rather than let SUN TV be the next Doordarshan!
