Broadbandblog: Spring Cleaning

by Abhishek on June 14, 2006

I was tied up in recent times due to some professional commitments.

I decided to utilise some “free time” at my disposal to clean up some outgoing links on the right panel; some of them have clearly outlived their utility.

Meanwhile, you can go through India Together.org which features “offbeat” issues. Makes for a depressing read at the reality that strikes in the face. It also features P. Sainath who writes in about rural India. I may or may not agree with him about his assertions; the fact remains that an alternative voice seeks to dig out stories which remain relegated to the background in the mainstream media.

Some day, I hope, that Telecom would get it’s due share.

Another post was published on Desi Critics on How to Popularise Linux in India. I have argued that the kids need to be exposed early on. They ought not to remain locked in the proprietary formats.
