The PC / Internet connecting device is not to reach of every indian though it is expanding very fast. But Broadband / high speed internet service is being exploded throughout country by BSNL/MTNL. These companies are no longer mere pipe line providers. These are entering NGN / IMS /3G very soon and will provide Distributed intelligence (Not only Terminal or Centralised Intelligence) Moreover DSL technology will prove out to be best for public though it may cost higher to provider than Wi-Max etc but for BSNL /MTNL this is already invested. So customer gets best media with his own cost effective CPE.

If BSNL/MTNL cuts down the tariff for IPTV/Voice/Internet/VoD etc. customer will ultimately prefer this for all services on single reliable copper pair
