This is the follow up to the earlier post on the email from their PR division. To their credit, they replied. Most of the other companies even fail to acknowledge the repeated emails.
This is a comment posted on the blog entry by one Ms Priya who probably works for them in their PR division. I have no means of ascertaining the facts and is based on assumptioms here. Here is what she has to say:
who the hell do you think you are? Its one thing to be right about something and explain the “crap” offered by companies, but you, you think you are the guy that knows ALL. Tell me why the hell you are sitting in front of some computer and typin this “crap” then? The answer is coz no one will hire you with your load of crap. You are one of those people who dont know how to put things in perspective. You prefer to make issues personal and you dont want to see what others are tying to point you understand. You are one of those people in any organisation that is a liability coz all you do if fart around pretending like you know everything and do no work. Hopefully next time you will have something more substantial to say when u “crap” out a company. you build no authenticity to your case and thats visible from the first comment you have recvd.
She waxes and wanes about me farting all around taking me to be a part of some organisation! Naive. Very naive. Unfortunately, she fails to rectify her grammar which only speaks volumes about the company and it’s hiring policies.
Sometimes, I seem to get a kick out of these kind of comments. I put them in front of you to decide without getting biased about it all. A blog remains a blog; it is an expression of what you feel and is preserve of one’s opinions. If someone from the PR Department of some company is not happy about my opinion, this is what I get!
These companies don’t realise that blogging community as a whole needs to be engaged. I am not sure about the kind of press handouts that these companies give to the mainstream media. Why would they send a half baked truth to a blogger? Then retract the same by claiming that the email attachment was a mistake!
Bottom line is that PR department from Virgin India Mobile needs more education in civil exchange of words instead of claiming that the authors are farts.
