Fact is that if Richard Branson tries to sell “anything”, he would make an issue of “nothing” to sell “something”. He is a maverick Brit; antithesis to the idea of what a limey actually is. He swung around Neha Dhupia at the “virgin” launch in India. Frankly, I have clue as to why he would name his company as “virgin”.
Why Neha Dhupia at the launch? She hardly has anything worthwhile to her credit, she’s got fake tits and a face that minus the oodles of make up, she would scare you in the dark. I wonder as to why Virgin India couldn’t find anyone more worthwhile.
Admittedly, the launch of Virgin India in the mobile sector was a big news all over. This is a clear cut testimony to his marketing skills. Unfortunately, their PR division hasn’t been up to the mark at all(1,2,3).
I wish them all the best for whatever they can salvage.
