They have not been able to provide me the connectivity I deserve. Their complaint resolution sucks. I have emailed them twice in the past 5 days without any reply from their headquarters. So far, they have been taking me for a ride.
I decided to lodge another complaint at their store. Unfortunately, a pretty ass was very blunt in telling me that I can jolly well shift to another operator if I find their service patchy! I am hardly inclined to deal with women on weighty matters like network issues when at best they serve to spice up the showroom with their thrusting bosoms instead of applying their minds to sort out a genuine issue. I think, they are under mistaken impression that a man is DUMB all the times!
Vodafone India has found a very troubling customer for sure. I would not rest unless my case is solved out and I get my money’s worth. Whether it takes an inbuilding solution or setting up a new tower or whatever, I should get my rights. When they advertise that the network follows, I wonder as to what it takes to provide for a customer delight. Anywhere else, the same set of bozos would have their balls fried up on hot coals. They can get away here in India because they are used to deal with dead dimwits. They have just found their waterloo.
As Google indexes these steady stream of write ups, I wonder what their official motto would be. Would they actually eat the crow and do something about their pathetic network?

Mr Abhishek,
This is chirag from gujarat and i just read 2 of your blogs one on bsnl broadband (i am looking for a good internet connection) and another this “vodafone India: Fight against the suckers”,
its great to see your challange as i have done this with hutch for my mobile problems and i am just a commerce-computer (BCA) graduate but can say all the best to you against those suckers ! Get your worth of your money.
Hi Abhishek
I had read this blog entry a while ago and was somehow agree on your views about vodafone, but today i am 200% agree with you.
I had got same response from a vodafone customer care representative while complaining about network lost issue. That arrogant guy told me to cancel my connection.
Vodafone need to do something about their network and customer care guys or they are going to loose many of their customers at least i am not going to continue using vodafone.
Vodafone in India sucks big time….
I was trying to pay my bill before I left the country in Feb 2008… their IVR machine would not give me the right amount and so I started communicating with them through email. In between Vodafone contacted my mom and screamed at her ……she paid the bill on my behalf…..
I used Hutch for over 5 years and feel very sorry that Vodafone has failed to live up to the standards set by Hutch….
this is for Vodafone,
If you are reading this, I will make sure that I spread as much negative publicity as I can….
Thanks,
Avinash
My Mobile number was 987 308 0125
I could not agree more wit u guys!!! I was in chennai for a year and was using a vodaphone connection. I Quit the chennai job informing vodaphone people to disconnect my phone because i was shifting to blore. I tried payin the bill via visabill pay but for some strange reason couldnt. Jus as i was readin this blog, i recieved a call from a thug/recovery agent who calls himself a lawyer saying vodaphone is filing a suit against me for non payment of bill. All this when i have not been given the bill at all!!!(neither via email/paper). Assholes of the nth order.
VODAPHONE SUCKS!!!! like a bottomless hole.
Hi there,
I live in Delhi & Vodafone sucks BIG time here. In comparison, Hutch was far better in terms of network coverage & signal quality. I am a prepaid user as it saves me a lot of billing trouble. Vodafone representatives have fried their balls trying to turn me into a postpaid user but to no avail. Vodafone has a cunning strategy: add as much prepaid users as you can -> coerce them into turning into postpaid users -> make them dance to your tunes.
now a days, vodafone become very worst. they are charging lot of hidden charges. at present they announcing the call conference work with only fifty rupees minimum balance. The people can not maintain min fifty rupees balance at all times.
This should clearly show that the Vodafone is Bad Network
Guess what?
Someone tried calling me today and were welcomed with a tamil message inviting that person to copy my caller tune. Only after this message was the call connected to me and this is happening for EVERY SINGLE CALL. When I called customer service, I was informed that it was done with the intention of creating AWARENESS.
Of course, they’re succeeding in creating awareness – Awareness that they’re up to slimy, shady and downright cheap tactics to garner additional revenue.
Well, I’m just waiting for number portability to become active in India and I will hopefully be the first and certainly not the last to switch from Vodafone.
I had asked for the BB features to be enabled for my new handset E71 and to my shock i was told that they dont have the setting from Nokia till now for enabling the BB features for this phone modal. Then i asked them to atleast enable internet browsing for which i had to call 3 times and am still waiting for the setting on my new handset. Its been over 24 hrs. I have sent message VODAFONE to 52586 as advised and i have been getting some stupid responses like try again after switching off ur phone or try after some time may be the server was down. How low can a company stoop down to have such kind of people serving the customers. Its time this company packs it bags and gets lost out of this country. A simple problem such as this cant be resolved by this godforsaken company. Also the BB no. of 55666 is giving a response that its not a valid no. As usual no solution to that problem too after bringing it to their attention. Shame on all employees working for this organisation.
Very correct as per the last blog, something needs to be done about these suckers.
Without any doubt – the worst network in Chennai. I am just waiting for the number portability system to come in. I am hoping that the govt expedites the delivery of this service.
