Reliance is mulling the option of buying out MTN which is a BIG success story post apartheid regime. I doubt whether Mukesh would let go off his baby so easily. It all boils down to big money and big egos; detriment to each other.
Whether or not, at end of the day, consumers suffer from their lack of focus because we hardly get to see anything big bang style. It’s been ages Reliance came up with anything special. Have they also become the “also ran” in this rat race?
