This release promises a radical departure from the previous releases. In brief, more importance to design and integration with social networking would be emphasized with faster boot up times.

Get it in another 2 days.

I believe that Free Software can definitely drive up the hardware sales specifically when Ubuntu or it’s ilk can be worked and installed on bare bones hardware aka Netbooks. They can be used for basic access specially when cloud is getting a big deal. There are issues related to “cloud ” for sure because the of data can never be ensured despite what everyone says about the “trust factor”.

More importantly is the thrust of Unix (or reworked ) on the . If is being bandied about, Ubuntu needs to get a piece of action on that front.

It remains my two cents worth of opinion though.
