I hope that part two of the saga would unfold today regarding the fight against Tata and the ISP’s in general. We have had the mainstream media interested (Times of India on course) with some local newspapers joining in the fight against the high handedness of the corporates.

Time and again, I have rattled against the media for their proven inefficiencies. Their standard response to the “hand me outs” and their willingness to play dumb men and women covering the “press releases” with words like “world class” thrown in for liberal measure. They tend to sacrifice their conscience in their own larger interests. It would not be justified to generalise the whole profession for obvious reasons but I’d rather say that there are a few white sheep alone in whole lot of black sheep bleating together. The only other honourable profession I know is prostitution; atleast they dont sell their conscience.

Still, let the media take up this cause and let’s see where all this lands up. I am sick of them anyway.
