I have been writing on this space since December 2004. The purpose of the blog is to view Indian Telecommunications from an outsider’s perspective. This blog is not affiliated to any industry group, consumer organization or any peer exchange.
As a rule, we don’t carry any advertisements here because that is akin to get influenced by the industry group. We choose to maintain fierce editorial independence and welcome any dissenting opinion in the comments.
It has become amply clear that Government of India is subsumed to the powerful interests and lobbies swayed by financial considerations. It is the worst kept secret attested by numerous scandals and scams. While it is not possible to report on everything that happens in the scene, there has been a conscious decision to report on events that affect us a consumer and on policies that would possibly determine the outcome.
The focus of blog has also shifted to digital divide and access devices relevant to Indian Scenario alone. While this is not a full blown account of “reviews”, yet trends relevant to India and broadband would be covered.
Unfortunately, media has not proven itself to be the watchdog it claims to be; rather is a medium for disinformation. Hence, there is an attempt to cut through the clutter and the flotsam.
I am a big fan of RSS feeds and hope that you would consider subscribing to them; there’s one for the main site and others have been ordered as per the cateogries.
The guiding principle, ultimately, is “Satyameva Jayate” or “Truth Alone Triumphs”.
